Champion's Growing Stellantis Range

Stellantis is a multinational automotive corporation formed from the merger in 2021 of the Italian- American conglomerate Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) and the French PSA Group. The corporation manufactures vehicles for 14 iconic brands: Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram Trucks, and Vauxhall. As a result of the merger, Stellantis is consolidating some of the existing Fiat and PSA engine oil specifications into new Stellantis standards. The first specification launched in the market is a 5W-30 viscosity. Let’s have a look at the Champion portfolio for Stellantis vehicles.
CHAMPION OEM SPECIFIC 5W-30 MS-SFE
A low SAPS ACEA C3 passenger car engine oil focused on the most recent Stellantis specification FPW9.55535/03 and on the PSA specifications B71 2290 and B71 2297 (for hot climates), a demanding standard that requires extended durability testing.
Developed for a wide range of passenger cars, SUVs and light vans. It is designed for modern high efficiency gasoline, diesel and hybrid cars from Stellantis (PSA, Opel, Vauxhall), MB and GM, as well as for Asian vehicles that specifically require a SAE 5W-30 oil specification.
High-tech advanced synthetic engine oil offering exceptional cleaning power, wear protection and overall performance in both diesel and gasoline engines operating in temperate or hot climates. Maintaining the efficiency of emission systems and prolonging its lifetime.
CHAMPION OEM SPECIFIC 0W-20 C5 P
This low-viscosity engine oil meets Stellantis/PSA specification B71 2010. That means it is a perfect match for many recent PSA engines, such as motortypes types EB2Axx and EB2Fxx. It has been fully optimised for latest PureTech engines, with a focus on exceptional fuel economy thanks to its ACEA C5 rating – around a 2% fuel efficiency advantage.
Given the importance of exhaust treatment systems, it has been engineered to provide long-term protection and synergy with diesel and gasoline particulate filters (DPF/GPF). It is also compatible with many hybrid powertrains.
What product should I use in my engine?
Choosing the right engine oil depends on the specific engine model and requirements.

- The Champion OEM SPECIFIC 5W-30 MS-SFE meets the Stellantis FPW9.55535/03 specification, making it suitable for DV5R, EB2DT, and DW12RU engines in Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Vauxhall, and DS models, as well as Asian vehicles requiring SAE 5W-30 ACEA C3 or API SN PLUS. This full synthetic oil offers exceptional cleaning power, wear protection, and compatibility with gasoline, diesel, and hybrid powertrains, supporting emissions systems like DPFs and GPFs. For broader compatibility and durability, 5W-30 MS-SFE is an excellent choice.
- Alternatively, the Champion OEM SPECIFIC 0W-20 C5 P meets the Stellantis/PSA B71 2010 specification and is optimised for many recent PSA engines, including EB2 (excl. EB2Dxx), D12X, and F12X engines, with a focus on fuel economy (around 2% efficiency advantage). It is engineered for exceptional long-term protection and compatibility with diesel and gasoline particulate filters (DPF/GPF), as well as hybrid powertrains. For better fuel economy and modern exhaust treatment system compatibility, 0W-20 C5 P is recommended.
Always consult the vehicle’s owner manual for the recommended oil specification to ensure optimal performance and meet warranty requirements.
